Little Quack's ABC's (26 pages)

Little Quack may be familiar to some kids and he is a typical "boy." In
this "Super Chubby" board book, kids learn the alphabet while also
exploring Little Quack's world. His habitat includes creatures that are
around him like and ants and those that are noticed by others like the
butterfly which his brother Widdle spies. The letters of the alphabet
are printed in a different color to make them stand out on the page.
The
text is not just a hodgepodge of things; it has a story line as we
spend a day with Quack. Everything appears to be the sorts of things
Little Quack and his siblings would see—a caterpillar, flower, grass,
ladybug, mama, nest and closing with a big yawn and "five sleepy
ducklings ...zzzzzz!" Thompson provides an easy way to review the
alphabet in a book that will surely be read many times with kids and
parents pointing to the letters.
